The Correspondence Table
Every symbol this site uses — letters, numbers, elements, planets, signs, angels, chakras, sephirot — in one line of plain words each. The deep pages go further; this page makes sure you're never lost.
This is a lookup table, not a reading. You are meant to arrive here from somewhere else — a letter you met on the Daily Current, a sign in your free reading, a sephirah on an angel's card — find its one line, and go back. Every row is one symbol and one sentence. Nothing on this page needs anything you have not already read on it, and no row asks you to open another page to make sense of it. Use the strip below to jump; use your browser's find (Ctrl-F / ⌘-F) to hunt one word.
Why These Numbers Keep Appearing
Before any table: the counts themselves. 3, 7, 12, 22, 72, 231 — you will meet these numbers on nearly every page of this site, and each one is arithmetic rather than assertion. Here is where each comes from.
| Count | Of what | Where the number comes from |
|---|---|---|
| 3 | Mothers | Aleph, Mem, Shin — the three elemental letters. Air, Water, Fire; Earth is what settles out of them. |
| 4 | Elements | The three Mothers plus Earth, their settled state. The suits of the tarot are these four. |
| 7 | Doubles / planets / days | Seven letters with two sounds each, seven visible moving lights, seven days of your week. The same seven all the way down. |
| 10 | Sephirot | The ten vessels of the Tree of Life — the stations any current passes through between source and world. |
| 12 | Simples / signs / months | Twelve single-sound letters, twelve zodiac signs, twelve months. One letter rules each sign. |
| 22 | Letters and Tree paths | 3 + 7 + 12 = 22. The Tree joins its ten sephirot with exactly twenty-two lines, so every letter is one path. |
| 36 | Decans | 360° ÷ 10° = 36. Each decan is a ten-day slice and carries one numbered tarot card — the 2s through 10s. |
| 72 | Angels | 360° ÷ 5° = 72. Each angel owns five degrees, so two angels share every decan and six share every sign. |
| 231 | Gates | 22 letters taken two at a time: (22 × 21) ÷ 2 = 231. Every pair of letters is a gate, and each letter opens onto the other 21. |
The 22 Hebrew Letters
one page each →The alphabet of the whole system: 3 Mothers (the elements — Aleph = Air, Mem = Water, Shin = Fire, exactly as the Sefer Yetzirah gives them), 7 Doubles (the planets), 12 Simples (the zodiac). Every letter is an operator — a verb of creation, not just a sound. The tarot column uses the Golden Dawn key (Aleph = The Fool); the Continental / Lévi key shifts every card one letter (Aleph = The Magician, Shin = The Fool) — see the Canon page for both.

The Numbers 1–9
the numerology lab →The site reduces almost everything to a single digit — your Life Path, your personal day, a name's Expression, a gate's total. These nine meanings are what those digits mean, and they are the same nine wherever a number appears on this site. 11, 22 and 33 are held whole instead of reduced; they are the master numbers, and they are listed underneath.

| 1 | initiative | Initiative, independence, the will to go first. |

| 8 | power | Power, material mastery, the handling of weight without dropping it. |

| 22 | master | Master 22 — the builder. A 4 with a blueprint big enough to outlive you. |
| 33 | master | Master 33 — the teacher. A 6 whose care extends past the people it can see. |
The Four Elements
the elements at work →The site's daily pages often say a day is 'dominated' by an element — meaning most of the day's active angels and placements share it. Here is what each element is, and what to do with a day it rules.
| Element | Mother letter | Its nature | In you | When it dominates the day |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| △ Fire | Shin ש | radiant, rising, transforming | will, drive, the spark that acts | act — launch, perform, burn through the list; temper the temper |

| △̶ Air | Aleph א | light, quick, in-between | thought, speech, breath — the messenger | speak — write, meet, negotiate, learn; beware scattered attention |
| ▽̶ Earth | (the settled state of the three) | dense, steady, holding | body, money, structure — what persists | build — handle money, finish tangible work, rest the body well |

The 72 Angels — Their Nine Choirs
all 72, one entry each →Seventy-two angels, each owning five degrees of the zodiac circle, are grouped eight at a time into nine choirs — the traditional nine orders. Listing all 72 here would defeat the purpose of a cheat sheet, so this is the map above them: which choir a numbered angel falls into, which sephirah it answers to, and which archangel leads it. Any angel's own number tells you its choir — divide by eight and round up.
| Angels | Choir | Sephirah | Archangel | What that sephirah is |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1–8 | Seraphim | Keter | Metatron | Pure source and the first impulse before form. |
| 9–16 | Cherubim | Chokmah | Raziel | The flash of living wisdom and unbounded force. |
| 17–24 | Thrones | Binah | Tzaphkiel | Understanding, boundary, pattern and the vessel of form. |
| 25–32 | Dominions | Chesed | Tzadkiel | Mercy, expansion, stewardship and stable abundance. |
| 33–40 | Powers | Gevurah | Kamael | Discernment, correction, courage and necessary limits. |
| 41–48 | Virtues | Tiferet | Raphael | The integrating heart where polarity becomes beauty. |
| 49–56 | Principalities | Netzach | Haniel | Desire, devotion, imagination and enduring creative force. |
| 57–64 | Archangels | Hod | Michael | Language, analysis, ritual intelligence and transmission. |
| 65–72 | Angels | Yesod | Gabriel | Dream, memory and the formative pattern beneath manifestation. |
The Seven Chakras
the body map →The body's own ladder of centers, crown to root — the microcosm's answer to the planetary ladder. These seven are the standard Sanskrit set, given here by position and function only. The site's Atlas, Body and Body Map pages each add a seed syllable and an archetype to the same seven, and those three lists do not currently agree with one another — so this table deliberately stops at what they all share, and the Body Map draws the full picture.
| # | Center | Sanskrit | Where | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 7 | ● Crown | Sahasrara | top of the head | unity — the opening to what is beyond you |
| 6 | ● Third Eye | Ajna | between the brows | vision — insight, imagination, seeing pattern |
| 5 | ● Throat | Vishuddha | the throat | truth — speech, expression, the word made real |
| 4 | ● Heart | Anahata | center of the chest | love — the bridge between the lower three and upper three |
| 3 | ● Solar Plexus | Manipura | above the navel | will — power, confidence, digesting experience |
| 2 | ● Sacral | Svadhisthana | below the navel | desire — creativity, pleasure, flow |
| 1 | ● Root | Muladhara | base of the spine | ground — survival, safety, belonging to the earth |

| Sephirah | In plain words |
|---|---|
| Keter | Pure source and the first impulse before form. |
| Chokmah | The flash of living wisdom and unbounded force. |
| Binah | Understanding, boundary, pattern and the vessel of form. |
| Chesed | Mercy, expansion, stewardship and stable abundance. |
| Gevurah | Discernment, correction, courage and necessary limits. |
| Tiferet | The integrating heart where polarity becomes beauty. |
| Netzach | Desire, devotion, imagination and enduring creative force. |
| Hod | Language, analysis, ritual intelligence and transmission. |
| Yesod | Dream, memory and the formative pattern beneath manifestation. |
| Malkuth | Embodiment, consequence and the realized world. |
The 231 Gates — the one thing no table can hold
Every other family on this page has a fixed, listable membership. The gates do not: a gate is what happens when two letters meet, so there are (22 × 21) ÷ 2 = 231 of them, and each one is a pairing rather than a thing. Read a gate as a sentence with two words in it — Aleph × Bet is breath meeting house, the beginning that takes a form. Every letter opens onto the other twenty-one, which is why the letters page gives each one its own row of twenty-one doors.
Each table above is a summary of a page that goes much further. These are those pages.
